“September 11th” that lasted 230 days!

I no longer know what arguments the world, people, and countries still need to recognize Russia as a terrorist state and its leader as the number one terrorist today.
The number of his victims has long surpassed the horrific toll of the September 11 attacks in New York, and the duration of this daily terror has long exceeded half a year.
And yet they keep saying, “it’s not so simple,” that “Crimea had a referendum,” that “people in Donbas voted for Yanukovych,” that “if it weren’t for Maidan,” that it was a “gift from Khrushchev,” and so on…
What truly angered me was Elon Musk with his “two cents,” which he so decisively tried to insert into the slot machine called “WAR” and “NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS.”
More than 200 days after the full-scale invasion of our land began, he tried to “clarify” whether people actually want changes…
And you, dear Elon - did you “clarify” with the U.S. government the questions about the September 11 attacks? About the relationship between the Pentagon and al-Qaeda, about the causes and consequences, about the fate and historical role of Saddam Hussein in that tragedy? Back then, was it also “not so simple” for you?
Why didn’t you run a Twitter poll about it?
Maybe the people on those hijacked planes provoked the terrorists? Or those who worked in the towers said something wrong about someone on social media? Or maybe they voted for the “wrong” president from the “wrong” state?
Or perhaps, historically, those weren’t even U.S. lands - and someone decided to “reclaim” them for the sake of justice, “as it was before 1873 and before Khrushchev’s mistake”?

Watch the hundreds of interviews by Volodymyr Zolkin — his composure is extraordinary, with nerves of steel that allow him to endure even the most provocative responses from captured Russian soldiers.
Even in captivity, they continue to call themselves “liberators,” “builders of kindergartens,” and claim to be “apolitical.”
Their wives and mothers are PROUD that their sons and husbands are firing at the “hated Ukrainians” (but of course not at people, not at children — “they’re doing it to themselves,” they say).
And meanwhile, we keep trying to distinguish between “good” and “bad” Russians, studying the faces of prisoners of war - while for THEM, we are ALL THE SAME.
They don’t look for “good” or “bad” Ukrainians. They flatten everyone indiscriminately, jeering and throwing dry branches into a fire that is already raging.
The most terrible part is that I am SURE that among those throwing these dry sticks into the fire are people I went to school with, and those my mother taught- into whom she poured her soul and heart, giving up precious time with her own family.
People we went to discos with, danced together, and shared hardships with.People who called my father their friend.People with whom I share the same blood.
I cannot call my mother or my father and tell them what is happening - to their friends, to their land, to their children. They are no longer alive.
I wasn’t able to grieve my mother’s death in 2014. I didn’t have time - war, evacuation, and new waves of shock consumed everything.
I wasn’t able to help my father because the grotesque entity of the so-called LPR turned medical care in what used to be a strong and progressive city, Alchevsk, into something out of the Middle Ages. My father died in a hospital because he was NOT given the help he needed.
I cannot go to their shared grave to care for it or to place a memorial worthy of them. Even that has been taken from me.
And still, there are those for whom “it’s not so simple.”
My daughter and I had our HOME stolen twice - completely, with all our belongings and personal photos.
My friends have had their HUSBANDS, CHILDREN, WIVES, MOTHERS, and FATHERS taken from them forever by terrorists. Some of my friends were simply stripped of their LIVES.
To understand what Ukrainians have been feeling every single day since February 2022, imagine that your own “September 11” is happening EVERY DAY - and don’t pretend you would endure that without a psychologist or some form of outside support.
Wake up. Russia is a TERRORIST STATE. It’s time to finally recognize this and remove it from all international organizations.
Otherwise, everything associated with Russia carries the stench of decay and death - something that can no longer be hidden or washed away.
Yours, Nata Che
