EVERY TIME,

Every time I parked my car in my rightful spot for electric vehicles, I would quietly complain that there was ALWAYS an ambulance parked next to it. It bothered me that this already remote area - far from the main parking lot, designated for electric cars with free charging stations between the spaces - was being taken by 911.
No, don’t get me wrong - I’m not against having an emergency vehicle stationed near my office. It’s necessary because of the nature of our work. There is always police, rescue services, and a mobile ambulance close by, discreetly positioned out of sight from passersby and employees.
Today, I didn’t need to charge my “carriage” (from the word car), so I took a walk by the lake during lunch. And then I saw it - the parking space where 911 usually stood - empty, clearly MARKED and designated specifically for it.
How often in our lives do we ignore signs that are written FOR US in big, bold letters and repeated on every post? We overlook what is obvious, choosing instead to believe what we want to believe, resisting and getting frustrated.
Maybe this year, we should follow the signs the universe keeps drawing for us in thick marker.
Happy New Year!
Yours, Nata Che 2026
